Our Studio

We are dedicated to our mission of ensuring the very best in dance instruction while providing memorable class experiences and performance opportunities for students of all ages and abilities. We strive to provide a welcoming, stimulating, challenging and enjoyable experience for all levels of dancers and their audiences. Ultimately, NLSD is committed to promoting and implement the philosophy that dance is another way of walking.

Students at NLSD are given instruction that is both competitive and relevant in the current Canadian artistic context. Our instructors receive regular professional development training to maintain their skills and remain current in the ever changing dance milieu.

The programs we offer help dancers advance according to competencies and technique, rather than just age. This approach ensures that both recreational and intensive program students' needs are met as they strive towards their personal artistic goals.

Fundraising

Our fundraising is not only necessary in order to continue our high quality programming offered by qualified and passionate instructors, but to help keep registration and costume fees reasonable. We rely on our fundraising efforts and try to keep these demands to a minimum.
