Marcy Mills

Born and raised in Prince George, Marcy followed her sister’s footsteps and started dancing at Judy Russell’s Enchainement Dance Centre at the age of three and hasn’t looked back since. She grew up training all styles from ballet to tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and musical theatre. She has competed across BC and participated in various summer intensives to further her training including: Okanagan Summer Dance Intensive, the Move, Arts Umbrella, Lines Ballet in San Fransisco and Movement Invention Project in New York City.

Upon moving to Vancouver she trained for two years out of Harbour Dance Centre with the Source Dance Company. She then journied to Toronto to train with the Conteur Academy under the direction of Eryn Waltman, focusing on ballet, modern and contemporary. Her love of the west coast brought her back to Vancouver where she has been working as a freelance professional dancer and choreographer for the past six years.

Some performance credits include: Diamond Tooth Gerties, West Side Story (TUTS), the Village(Response), the Grey Cup Half-time show, Yellowpoint Christmas Spectacular, Pacific National Exhibition, MAC Cosmetics Alluring Aquatic line and TEDx Vancouver.
Marcy loves to teach and share her love of movement with her students. She continues to study dance and expand her knowledge through other art forms such as painting, pottery, acting, singing, guitar and yoga.
