Jody MacGillivray
Jody MacGillivray was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon. She’s danced since she was 18 months old and has trained in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, modern, tap and Cecchetti Ballet. In her teens, Jody participated with her Extremely Moving Youth Society (EMYS) dance team in several competitions and was a member of the University of Lethbridge dance and cheer team while studying Kinesiology. She has completed Canada’s Premiere Dance Teacher Training Program with Canada’s National Academy of Dance Education and has experience teaching dance summer camps and choreography. Jody is passionate about dance and looks forward to sharing this love of dance with others.
